Governance

An overall look at Governance

As a credit union, we do things a little differently. Our members aren't just customers, you're owners. One of the benefits of being a member-owner is you get to nominate and elect your Board of Directors.

The VCU Board of Directors are representatives who are elected by, accountable to, and serve in the best interest of our member-owners. It’s their responsibility to steer the course of our credit union, develop our policies, approve strategic plans and ensure that we’re compliant with the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
